Cupcake: A Wife Swap Swingers Tale is the fourth book in the Taboo Fantasies series and is preceded by Bootie: A Hotwife Fantasy MFM Ménage and Muffin: A First Time FFM Ménage Romance. The first book in the series is Tushie: A Taboo Tale of Forbidden Love. All four books can be read standalone, but are much naughtier when read in order as part of a series.
Two’s company. Three’s a crowd. Four’s a party.
A chance encounter with a gorgeous married couple whilst ice skating on a frozen lake leads to a flirtatious and sensual new friendship.
With Elsie and Cole’s fourth anniversary just around the corner, it seems serendipitously appropriate to invite them over for dinner, followed by an impromptu and rather steamy game of Never have I ever…
What starts out as an innocent get-together soon becomes anything but… Will two loving couples surrender to curiosity, chemistry and lust? Or will jealously, surprise revelations and drunken envy tear them apart?
Whilst the temperature outside is plummeting… inside, the heat is soaring.

CHAPTER ONE
ELSIE’S WARM BREATH billowed out in front of her, the water vapour rising up into the air like a puff of smoke and dissipating as quickly as it formed in the ice cold winter air.
‘I can’t believe you’re making me do this,’ said Alice, shaking her head as she wobbled unsteadily on her feet.
‘I can’t believe you - of all people - are scared,’ laughed Elsie.
‘I am not scared,’ but after a moment she reached out her gloved hand and took hold of Elsie’s, glaring at her friend as she did so. ‘Fine. Maybe I’m a little bit scared.’
The ice of the lake was more than thick enough to stand on and a thin layer of clouds had blocked out the sun making the conditions perfect for some morning skating, and as Elsie looked out across the wintery scene she smiled at the sights and the sounds of the many children flying back and forth and round and round in delight.
‘There’s very little chance you’ll fall through.’
‘I could fall through?’ said Alice, involuntarily gripping her friend’s hand even tighter.
‘I’m kidding,’ laughed Elsie. ‘It’s eight inches thick, you could drive a car over this and it wouldn’t even creak.’
Alice took a deep breath as Elsie’s husband Cole drew up alongside them both, taking Alice’s free hand in his own and gripping hold of it tight.
‘Are you ready?’ he said.
‘No.’
‘Let’s go.’
Together Elsie and Cole stepped forward off the side of the frozen embankment and pulled their reluctant friend between them down onto the ice, holding her upright as she tried to keep herself from falling over on the slippery surface.
For a moment her face lit up as she steadied herself, pushing one boot forward and then the other as the couple held her, then she looked down in horror as one of her legs began to slide forward on its own as the other stayed still. She burst into laughter as she collapsed onto the floor in a heap, the icy surface cold against her bottom, even through the thick leggings and tartan miniskirt she’d very carefully chosen that morning.
Elsie let go and swept around the pair of them in a wide arc, skating up behind her best friend and offering her a helping hand.
‘Show off,’ she laughed as she accepted, pulling herself upright and standing unsteadily. She concentrated, looking down at her feet inside the tall, thick boots.
‘Don’t look at your feet,’ pointed Cole. ‘Bend your legs and lean forward a little.’
Alice did so, still holding their hands tight and then after a moment she smiled and nodded.
‘Now watch Elsie,’ he nodded.
Alice let go of her friend’s hand as she slipped away, her knees bent, her torso tilted forward and her arms swinging gently in time with the sweeping motion of her legs.
‘You push forward and out to move, then twist your feet in to slow down. Not too sharply or you’ll fall over,’ she swished away, demonstrating.
‘Oh my goodness,’ laughed Alice, her gloved hand hovering over her frozen lips as her friend’s dark ponytail swished and swirled around in front of her. She watched with a mixture of awe and envy as she came to a graceful stop in front of them.
‘I’ll be beside you,’ said Elsie. ‘You can hold on to me if you want.’
Despite all the wild experiences that Alice had undertaken in her life, she had never learned to ice skate.
Many years ago, her parents had taken her and her younger sister Emilia to an indoor facility for a friend’s seventh birthday party, and whilst Emilia had taken off after a few minutes with the beauty and grace of a swan, Alice had flummoxed about like a turtle and given up after ten painful minutes with more bruises on her backside than she could count on one hand. Since then she’d steered away from the prospect, turning down two dates and a rather unusually themed Hen Do.
Until now.
The cold snap that had drifted across the whole of the United Kingdom had ground much of the country to a standstill in a matter of hours. Snow had covered everything except the beaches. Unprecedented temperatures of the mid-minus twenties had then hit the north of Scotland, and although by comparison Oxford was warm, a number of ponds and small lakes around the city had remained frozen for three nights in a row, thickening as the deep freeze continued.
Alice had been invited by Elsie for dinner on Saturday night and - as had now become tradition - the three of them had made love through to the early hours, falling asleep in each other’s arms and waking up in the late morning for a second round. By the time Cole had made his wobbly way downstairs to cook some breakfast for them all, the snowfall was alr
eady eight inches deep, and by early afternoon it was pretty clear that Alice would be staying put.
When Monday came around - after a bonus wild night of threeway passion - a further six inches meant that the roads were impassable and both Elsie and Alice received orders to work from home.
Unfortunately by Tuesday they were beginning to go stir crazy from being locked in together for almost eighty hours.
As such, Cole - ever the optimist - suggested the idea of a three mile early morning trek, complete with ice skates, warm clothes and hot food to the nearby Morwell Lake. In spite of everything - including her mounting thallasophobia - Alice had agreed enthusiastically and off they had embarked, wrapped up, topped up and giddy with excitement.
Alice took hold of Elsie’s thickly gloved hand and held on tight as she pushed away, Cole moving slowly beside them both, acting as an extra safety net.
A young boy, clad in black with a scarf wrapped tight around his mouth and nose skidded past, making her wobble. ‘You’re doing great,’ he shouted as he shot away again in the direction of his friends, raising both thumbs into the air with abundant enthusiasm.
‘See?’ Elsie smiled as she squeezed Alice’s fingers, watching her friends feet as she began to get the hang of the motion. ‘Don’t look down, just keep going.’
A moment later, she let go and Alice continued onward, keeping up her rhythm as she began to speed up, her face lighting up in delight. Cole stayed alongside her as Elsie sped away in a gentle arc, cutting around a young family with a very handsome dad that caught her eye - and made her heart beat a little bit faster - and then swooping back towards her two.
Alice was doing well, keeping up her momentum and staying low as Elsie drew back alongside her. ‘Keep up your rhythm,’ she said, looking down at her friends feet. ‘You’re doing it.’
Alice grinned and then immediately slipped and fell down, grasping for Elsie’s hand and holding tight as she spun round and down onto her bottom again.
‘My sister would be carving ice sculptures by now,’ she laughed as she wobbled back up, almost pulling Elsie down with her.
As Alice regained her balance, the handsome dad passed by and flashed a smile at them both, holding on to his eldest daughter’s hand.
‘Are they your friends?’ the little girl said as the two women smiled back.
’I don’t know them sweetie, but anyone can be your friend if you wave at them,’ he said warmly as they skated by, the little girl waving shyly.
‘Oh my goodness,’ said Alice, melting. Her eyes followed the pair of them as they skated away.
‘Don’t tell me you’re broody?’ said Elsie.
‘Are you kidding me? My ovaries just exploded.’
‘Because of the little girl or the hot dad?’
‘Both,’ she laughed as the trailing mum scooted past, an even smaller child squeezing her hand.
‘Of course, the mum is ridiculously hot,’ she whispered, waving. ‘Hi!’
‘Come on, eyes on the ice, Hunter,’ said Elsie, focusing her friend. ‘We’re here to skate not date.’
‘Fine,’ said Alice, stomping herself back round to face the other way. ‘Is home wrecking out of the question though? Asking for a friend.’
‘You ready?’ she glared. ‘I’ll go in front of you this time.’
Elsie took hold of both her hands and started to move backwards, pulling Alice along gently.
As she looked up, she glanced toward Cole who smiled and waved, swishing past behind them and circling off toward the far end where they’d begun.
‘Are you ready to go alone?’
‘No.’
Elsie let go and slid aside as Alice continued. ‘Don’t panic, just keep going.’
A hesitant smile flashed across her friend’s face, her head still down and concentrating hard.
Cole was looping back to take over and as he drew up, Elsie spun away.
She loved skating, there was something peaceful and calming about it. It was gentle and rhythmic and the dulled sound of the packed snow made the world feel cosy despite the temperature. She looked back towards her husband and Alice and smiled.
They were turning back now, and she had another minute before they would reach her, so she sped away and picked up some speed, going wide around the edge of the lake and leaning into each turn, dodging past trees growing up and out of the ice.
Once or twice she glanced into the middle, looking for the handsome dad and the hot mum, the temptation to peek overpowering. Then she turned her attention to the wind, feeling it rushing through her hair and freezing her skin and gradually she let everything else fade away.
Alice was calling for her.
She’d settled into a trance as she’d skated round and round and now - as her attention was drawn back to the present - she felt disoriented, looking left and right for her friend.
As she slowed down, the handsome dad - skating backwards as he tried to snap a photo of his happy little brood - crashed into her, knocking them both off their feet and down onto the ice in a crumpled heap.
‘Ow,’ she laughed, grimacing as her bottom collided with the hard packed surface. As she went to stand up, flattening the palms of her hands on the ice, she felt a sharp pain in her left ankle and yelped before sliding back down. ‘Oh, shit.’
‘I’m so sorry,’ said the hot dad as he knelt upright, leaning toward her in concern.
He was even more attractive up close. He was tall and athletic with a short sweep of messy hair and a stubbly beard that was gradually turning silver in patches and the moment Elsie made eye contact with him, she felt herself blush as though all her confidence had been knocked out of her in an instant.
‘You okay, Els?’ said Cole, sweeping down low as his wife tried to stand up again, the cold piercing through her leggings fast.
‘I can’t stop,’ came the loud voice of Alice a moment later as she ploughed into the three of them, tumbling down and giggling as she slid to a halt.
‘Fuu-‘, Alice censored herself just in time as the dad’s little girl skidded over and stopped.
‘Daddy, are you okay?’
‘Yes, I’m fine sweetie,’ he gestured toward the two women. ‘We just had a little crash.’
‘Hi,’ she said and waved, making Elsie break into a smile.
Another little girl, younger and almost half the size of her sibling followed, her little mittened hand held tight by her stunningly beautiful mother, her rosy red cheek bones glowing with concern beneath the short blonde strands of hair poking out from beneath her thick winter hat.
‘Let’s get you up,’ said Cole to Elsie as the man’s family gathered around him, fawning and fussing. Her ankle still hurt, but the pain was bearable if she didn’t put any weight on it.
‘Well that’s one way to introduce yourself Els,’ giggled Alice.
‘Is everyone okay?’ said the woman, a genuine lilt of sympathy in her soft voice.
‘I think so?’ said the man, still visibly worried about Elsie’s ankle as he glanced over toward her.
Cole was busy sliding his wife’s leggings up to take a closer look when Alice interjected. ‘My sister works in physio, she might be able to take a look at it for you?’
‘Today?’ said Cole, frowning and looking up.
‘The roads are pretty clear to the south,’ said the man, the feeling of guilt in his voice was palpable. ‘I’m so sorry, I wasn’t looking where I was going, I was trying to take a picture of the girls.’
‘Don’t worry,’ said Elsie, smiling broadly, then wincing as Cole rotated her ankle slightly. ‘It’s fine, honestly.’
‘It doesn’t seem fine,’ he said, nervously laughing as he leaned forward to get a better view of the bruise slowly forming beneath her skin.
‘Em?’ said Alice, turning away as she began speaking into her phone. A small crowd had started to form around them and she shooed them away with a smile and a wave of her hand. ‘Long story - don’t interrupt - I’m ice skating up at Morwell L
ake - I know - and my friend Elsie has fallen and hurt her ankle. Any chance you can get up this way to take a look at it?’
Elsie began to shake her head, as if to say the gesture was unnecessary, but a moment later Alice began to nod enthusiastically.
‘It’s called Fern Cottage, I’ll text you a pin. See you soon.’
‘Anna could drive you back with the girls?’ said the man quickly, looking over at his wife. ‘It’s the least we can offer? Then the rest of us could all walk back together and meet you there?’
‘You drove here?’ asked Cole
‘In a four-by-four,’ nodded Anna. ‘And I agree, I don’t think you’re going to be walking very far on that.’
Elsie tried to take another valiant step in an attempt to prove otherwise but the pain was too much and her shoulders sagged, a defeated smile spreading across her face as she leant against her husband. ‘Maybe not.’
‘It’s no trouble at all. We were just about to get going anyway,’ she glanced to the side as her eldest circled them slowly. ‘The girls are getting hungry.’
‘Can we go to Maccie D’s?’ said the older one, her ears listening in to the conversation between the adults.
‘No, sweetie. We’ve got to take this nice lady back to her house.’
‘Okaay,’ came the long and drawn out response.
‘Is that alright?’ said Elsie, turning to Cole and nodding her head towards the couple.
‘I think it’s a good idea,’ he said. ‘You go with Anna, I’ll walk back with Alice and…’ he turned toward the man. ‘Sorry, I didn’t catch your name?’
‘Tom.’
Even his name is hot, thought Elsie.
